Tough company - Project Manager Ledcor Employee Review

I had a Vice President that had no interest in ever helping me build my career, it didn't matter how pleased the client was or that I was making significantly more than the bid profit. I got told "that's my job" etc. He basically had his boot on my neck and only wanted yes men underneath him. I got the impression he thought I didn't have any other option. A fellow Project Manager in a similar situation left and is now a Project Director at a competitor. I'm a Vice President For my division my career was a dead end path that was going no where Pay was average as were the benefits, nothing special
