Pros
Very comprehensive benefit package. Despite being in the housing, lending market I have job stability. Up-dated technology that allows me to be a virtual employee without all of the paper waste that was common before. (Being able to e-mail as opposed to faxing and over-night delivery of work.) More stream-lined processes than in the past.
Cons
Off site employees have no advancement opportunities. Job security has come with the caveat of not having a raise in 5 years. Poor communication between virtual and campus employees. Poor training for newly implemented processes. If you are an off-site employee you feel like you don't quite belong and I have yet to see one of the off site employees receive an award.
