Pros
1. Above minimum wage pay right out of the gate, with the possibility of increased pay with every season you work there. 2. Meal ticket for lunch/dinner whenever you work your shifts. 3. Nice benefits like discounts on tickets and merchandise. 4. Fast paced work environment with opportunities to move up after some time. 5. Flexible scheduling, that allows you to tailor your week as you see fit. Perfect for students and people with more than one job.
Cons
1. Management can be hit or miss, with some supervisors being great and others being utterly terrible. 2. The days when games are slow can be brutal and relentlessly boring. 3. Work days are seniority based, which makes new hires have to come every single day regardless of whether or not they are guaranteed to work that day, resulting in possible wasted time and gas. This is still an issue for people who have been here for more than a year or so. 4. You won't always work in the same stand when you're new, and even when you've built up enough seniority, you might be switched out of your usual stand for no reason other than just because, which is really frustrating.
