Pros

Great people to work with in the Vancouver office!!!

Cons

Long Hours, low pay. Outdated, inefficient record-keeping systems that created a lot of extra time and effort that we often times didn't have.

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. Input from staff is always important to us, and helps us look for ways to improve the services we provide. Our residential programs are 24/hour units, to which the Residential Aides work 12 hour shifts per their job descriptions and the requirements of the units. Additionally, we have worked on updating our record systems, switching from paper to electronic and updating our software regularly. We are also always looking to provide overall competitive benefits for our staff, including wage & market analyses for agency positions as well as our annual merit increase program! If you would like to provide any further feedback, please reach out to HR at hr@lifelineconnections.org

Pros

My coworkers are great, the work is rewarding.

Cons

Upper management is awful. The program director at my location is inept, has no experience with recovery, and lacks emotional regulation. The CEO has lost the company a ton of money and is relying on the lowest paid employees to cover the loss and take some of the blame that she should take all of. There's no response from HR when employees file grievances. Upper management's attitude appears to be them just ignoring employees until they can't and then accepting the loss when employees quit since they can just put the workload strain on the lowest paid employees.
