Pros

The clinical staff at LOA is wonderful and should be paid far more than what they get paid. Clinicians have a great culture here and the work they do can be easily seen thru the progress of their patients.

Cons

The administrative staff is incredibly disorganized and roles are not clearly defined. They will NOT give you a firm job title, which means you can be tasked for things you had no idea you were supposed to be doing. You will spend a majority of your time in "meetings" which have no use and simply act as an echo chamber for higher-ups. The policies put in place are always changing--whether that is PTO, benefits, retirement, or other compensation. In addition, changes to policies are not always advertised and if you do not do your own due diligence, you will not notice that they are reducing your benefits. The CEO has goals of becoming a large company but does not take any feedback on how to improve the business. You will repeatedly be asked to do "special projects" by the CEO and then are on your own for guidance and follow-up. LOA's method of career growth is another way of saying changing job title to compensate for the revolving door of administrative employees.

Pros

Doing my clinical internship at Light On Anxiety was an amazing experience. Everything from how the business is set up to the way it is run and every single person I dealt with from HR to my Supervisors has been simply amazing. And my experiences with the clients both individually and in group as well as the trainings have been invaluable. I have nothing but fantastic things to say about Light On Anxiety.

Cons

I have nothing negative to report.
