Pros

If there is one redeeming factor about Liquid Logics, it is the wonderful people who you would work alongside day to day. The team is full of supportive, knowledgeable, and hardworking individuals.

Cons

The CEO is short tempered and consistently contradicts himself in work requirements. You have scrum meetings at 8:15AM every morning, and the CEO tends to target and berate employees for any problems the company is currently facing on these calls. The work you are expected to complete is rarely communicated clearly, as with any changes to said expectations. There is a marital conflict in management. If you have an issue with the CEO's behavior or actions, there is no recourse. Pay is below market standard and working overtime with no compensation is also expected. Proper coding standards are very loosely followed and the main code base that you maintain is disorganized. During my employment, there was a time when the company was experiencing a significant loss of long-term employees. At that time, I was promised a bonus upon completion of the project I was working on. However, when the deadline came and the project was delivered, I did not receive the promised bonus. Despite confronting the CEO multiple times about this issue, he did not honor his promise. Moreover, the CEO posts job listings that promise a 401k, which the company does not actually offer. The benefits provided are very limited.

Pros

For the past two years, I have worked at Liquid Logics, and I say this with a clear heart: it is the first office in my life that has felt like a home. The owner, Sam Kaddah, is a man of intelligence, vision, and high standards. He expects much from his people, but he is also willing to trust them. When I first joined the company, he gave me the freedom to take ownership of the sales process, asking only that I prove my ideas through results. This trust meant a great deal to me, and it gave me the opportunity to grow. As the years passed, Sam continued to place more responsibility in my hands. He allowed me to learn, to make decisions, and to develop as a professional. Not every leader is willing to do this. Many seek followers; few seek to build leaders. As for the team at Liquid Logics, they are good people. We work hard, we challenge one another, and we celebrate our victories together. We may come from different backgrounds, but we share the same goal and pull in the same direction. Like the oarsmen of a single ship, we move forward only when we row together. Some may find Sam's style demanding, and at times it is. But there is a difference between harshness and high expectations. Sam pushes people because he believes in their potential. His words may sometimes be firm, but they come from a place of sincerity and care. In the end, a leader who expects excellence is often the one who helps you discover it within yourself. I am proud to work for Sam Kaddah. I am proud to work alongside the people of Liquid Logics. In a world where loyalty is rare and good teams are hard to find, I consider myself fortunate to have found both.

Cons

in my opinion, there are none.
