Pros
Lots of training and more opportunities to learn about the international trade and customs brokerage industries throughout one's employment. Decent health and medical benefits, and a decent 401k option. Management is hit-or-miss. Some supervisors and managers are well-liked, other employees despise their supervisors and managers. This reviewer was lucky with their assigned team, however, as far as leadership goes.
Cons
Lots of IT issues. So many, in fact, that productivity is often negatively impacted, which looks bad to clients. Slight disorganization in management. Office atmosphere is oftentimes droll and lackluster. There is a general feel of boredom from the staff, probably due to repetitive tasks and a lack of enthusiasm for the work--if working at the entry level. High employee turnover rate. This does, however, mean that there are often chances for advancement within the company. Though one should keep in mind that a promotion might not always go to the best-qualified employee.
