Pros

A small team so you can make a significant impact to the overall health of a company very quickly. Great location in Downtown San Francisco. Very competitive pay with a flex WFH schedule. Hands down one of the best sales team I have worked for with very diverse backgrounds that created a fun place to be.

Cons

As mentioned, it's a small team, so sometimes it's very hectic, and there is no hiding when it comes to your own production. You're not just responsible for new business but also existing business plus a minor support role due to minimual amount of resouces.

Pros

Loggly is solving some very difficult and interesting problems when it comes to scalability and big data. It is still a small company so the organization is very flat. As an engineer, there's nothing to hold you back from coding as hard as you can all day long every day. The culture feels genuinely friendly and it's awesome personally knowing each and every employee. There are weekly company-wide 'hang-outs' that are really fun, i.e. a big happy hour where the C staff updates everyone on everything that's going on across the company. Tuesday is engineering-wide no meeting day and generally everyone works from home that day, which is a perk I don't know how I lived without before Loggly. Overall Loggly is a pretty great place to work that I look forward to going to every day.

Cons

Loggly is extremely lean, so there are many times when there simply are no where near enough people to get done all the things that desperately need being done. This 'leaness' also means that Loggly has fewer perks and benefits than your average SV tech company. Loggly could actually use a bit more engineering management, to be honest. Almost everyone reports directly to the CTO, which puts a huge strain on the whole engineering org that manifests as delayed releases, habitually rescheduled meetings, important work falling through the cracks, and a lack of accountability for individual engineers.
