Pros
They let me come to work after school during the weekdays.
Cons
If they called you into work and you couldn't come for any reason, they would cut back your hours- even though you were not put on the schedule in the first place. You got burned a lot, even if you weren't a cook. I was a cashier, and I got burned at least twice a week starting out by the big, boiling vat of grease. I worked there for about 2 years and my job was the same every day- clock in, rinse a sink full of dished that the people on an earlier shift didn't bother to touch, deal with customers with eating disorders that probably shouldn't be eating there anyway, oh, and clean the bathrooms- I'm serious when I say customers crapped or peed on the floor at least twice a week. The smell was awful and there are flies buzzing all around during the summer. You're bosses treat you like a dog, at least until you get to know them, and sometimes continue to treat you like garbage regardless- even though they are managing a greasy fast food joint that only makes about a dollar more than you hourly- yep, they're going places. If you want a raise, consider either becoming a manager and having to be there literally all day, or going to college to get a real job that pays WAY better. Make the right choice.
