Pros

*Louis Vuitton is synonymous with prestige. *This company, to an outsider, will look appealing on a resume. *If management, there is opportunity for yearly travel. *Benefits offered are fair.

Cons

*Executive leadership (in the Southern Region) is severely unpleasant, inconsiderate, but most importantly unprofessional. *Bonus structure is inadequate and not comparable to models being adopted by competitors, or even companies with less prestige. *Compensation is below industry average for professionals in Luxury Goods/Jewelry. *Little to no growth opportunities as the brand does not invest in the development of its' workforce (management). HR will hire from external (which is how you most likely landed this job). *Absolutely zero feedback, recognition, and/or praise (see #1). You will never be clear on expectations that you have met, but fully informed on those that have not. *Turnover (Southern Region) is astronomical for management positions. Worthwhile talent that comes in will tolerate it in order to enhance their on-paper work experience, but will seek outside opportunities after their minimum job tenure is met. *Overall regional and global corporate departments do not communicate with each other, leading to inefficient lead times on deadlines, product launches, visual merchandising, and performance appraisals. *Disappointing employee discount system.
