Pros
1. Christmas shutdown, flexible vacation policy, annual summer BBQ and Christmas party, benefits such as ESPP/RSU/401k match 2. A lot of smart coworkers, technology is top in the field, learnt a lot about optics 3. Nice office building, close to restaurants and supermarkets. 4. Good immigration policy, 6 months waiting time for green card application, less than some other companies
Cons
1. Bad management, upper management has no direction, keep cancelling projects halfway, and in the end shutdown the whole project and layoff all hardworking engineers, but still keep the managers 2. Some managers are very rude, has no respect for others, and do not listen to other people's opinions. 3. DTO policy can be used against you if your manager is not considerate 4. Insurance options are limited, need to pay quite a lot if you want a good plan 5. Too many meetings, wast of time to sit and listen to political arguments
