The people in general are friendly. Work environment is average.
Cons
Year after year, no raises. Performance is not a factor. Even if requested, raises are never provided. Performance reviews are very irregular. Too often they just do not occur. Bonuses all but eliminated. Benefit packages are mediocre at best. While they have managed to merge several products into one, they have failed to merge the company as a whole. Business units operate independently. Left hand does not know what the right hand is doing! Resistance to implement industry best practices. Features are pushed to clients without proper testing. Its all about the feature list for sales. Fix the problems later. New CEO's qualifications are questionable. Implementing mass layoffs in CEO's first week is simply irresponsible. I can only imagine this has done for company morale. Layoff is one thing, but the severance package is just a slap in the face. Its very deficient. Once you are out the door, the only way you will be able to contact HR is with a certified letter! They will not talk to you or respond to inquiries.
