Pros
Working with amazing residents and their families, many of whom continue to reach out to stay in touch.
Cons
Horrible treatment. Mean spirited, self-serving, corporate climbers. They do NOT care about employees. On top of your enormous dept. workload, they will bury you with ridiculous corporate expectations and committees and “support” staff offer zero support. Sink or swim is their motto. “Team” support is catch phrase they like to throw around but their actions speak louder than words. Workplace hostility has been the climate due to targeting individuals to be bullied, common place amongst staff. Even after reporting this by others they turn their head. New hires quit after one month at best. Four individuals prior to me quit in less than one year, all driven out by current staff. Worse than not caring about staff is their lack of genuine care about residents, except when collecting rent or viewing them as a prospect. Instead of going out of their way to keep things going and fun for residents, they cancel events, outings and activities in order to suit their calendars without considering the impact it has on residents. These services and experiences are what they are paying for but not receiving.
