Pros
*Highly recognised company in the market. *Collaborative mindset and willingness to get the job done right. *Friendly and approachable work mates. *Defined structure & processes. *Agile (Kanban & Scrum) used well.
Cons
*Lack of diversity in Project & Program Management ranks, in particular race/ ethnicity. *Favouritism. * Limited career growth & advancement. May have to wait more than 5 years if not more for a promotion. * Issues with flexible working hours & working from home arrangements manifested post change of Head Of. * Very limited career development e.g. training courses, secondments or mentoring offered unless you are in the 'favourites' bucket. * No annual pay increases. * Performance appraisals are bias, even if you deliver everything you were meant too, don't expect a good performance outcome. Brown nosing is required. * Some level of micro management amongst Program Managers but not all.
