MSI is a small but growing company. I enjoy the work hours (half days on Friday) and flexibility. Contributing toward a product that is going to our warfighter makes the work extremely meaningful.

Some growing pains which is to be expected. Can't think of anything else.

If you enjoy working in a tribal culture that is devoid of teamwork, MSI may be the place for you. I would suggest gaining the acceptance from the long term employees rather quickly, otherwise, you will experience difficulty in your daily activities. A keen sense of clairvoyance is recommended also due to the inconvenience and time consumption that proper training would require. It’s fitting that the company is located in a business park populated by NASCAR-affiliated businesses because you will be expected to work at the speed of a pit crew within weeks of employment. Again, possessing the clairvoyance to know procedures and expectations without being told will help your success at MSI Defense. There is some encouragement available on a daily basis. A xeroxed copy of a handprint is taped to the wall in the event you would need a high-five. Any other pat on the back is an attempt to locate soft tissue and should not be construed at positive reinforcement. Weekly donuts and monthly hot dogs are certainly a perk but still a superfluous attempt at compensation in exchange for a work environment that could exacerbate depression.
