Pros

The employees themselves that work here are amazing, which is why you see them respond very diligently on this platform as well as others where people complain, telling you the people writing bad reviews were all bad employees that were fired. I want everyone to know I was not fired, I quit, and they went through 6 managers for the retail location in one year (2016), and 2 of them quit for the same reason. The owners treat employees with no respect, which should tell you something about all the reviews on here.

Cons

The owners (brett and James) are very manipulative and ask for you to do much more work than they are willing to pay you for. When I went around and asked ALL the employees in the corporate office how they felt about the owners the words "bully" and "rude" and "disrespectful" came up the most. They literally have a group text massage for all the employees and if you don't hit his expectations James will call you out in front of everyone and makes you look like an idiot even if it was his fault. They promise raises, promise change, and much more, but always find a really good excuse that it's your fault when you don't get a raise. You will love the people your work with because the team is great. But James and Brett are still new to the world of running anything other than online warehouse business, they even had to close down a retail location and blamed it all on the manager, when they originally promised me and their team they would be expanding soon. When I saw the direction it was going I had to find a new place to work.

Pros

Plenty of work to do, reasonable and attentive management and ownership, company is in a state of rapid growth meaning more opportunity to rise to more lucrative positions as the company hires into the entry-level. Occasional bonuses for hard-working employees. Lots of company events (potlucks, holiday parties, etc.) Compensation is very fair, and management is open to listen to any employee concerns. Contrary to prior review, there is in fact PTO, accrued 2 days per 3 months worked up to 8 days annually, available for use up to 1 year after accrual. Management/ownership works just as hard as staff does, and leads by example and not by command. Very friendly and helpful staff. Feels more like a big team than a workforce.

Cons

Feels very short-staffed at times. Company is making the transition from small to medium size, as well as the establishment of a new retail store; workforce has been stretched thin through the transition. Lots of pressure on employees to perform, as well as tighter margins of acceptable error. New systems are being developed to streamline operations and improve efficiency, which can be difficult for an entire workforce to adapt to (but will be beneficial long-term). No benefits (it is clearly explained as to why the company isn't providing benefits upon hire, and MW is working with an insurance agent to make sure every employee is informed and educated of their options).
