Pros
- Small family like atmosphere. You can tell the owners care about the well-being of each employee. - The ability to influence change and growth. There are not many places where the work you do directly translates to revenue. It is fun to see how your own actions influence the growth, or pain. of the company. You have the ability to make a real difference here and shape the company. - Relaxed atmosphere. The employees have fun here and upper management goes out of their way to try and make sure you feel valued and have fun while working. Lunch/dinner outings and potlucks are a common occurrence. - Trajectory is only up. This company is growing so fast it provides tremendous opportunity. - Management is heavily invested in the success of the company. Both owners have their personal finances tied up in the company which ensures their drive to continue the success and growth of the business.
Cons
- More work than can be accomplished. Since the company is growing so fast, we are often playing catch-up to stay on top of everything. As far as problems go, about as good as one to have. - There can sometimes be too many cooks in the kitchen. Management can sometimes step on each others toes and this can confuse and frustrate employees.
