Pros
The entire team at Madhappy is incredibly kind & warm. That is felt in a lot of ways from acknowledging team wins and personal / work milestones on a regular basis. It's a very welcome change from a lot of other workplaces in similar industries. The founders are very kind & driven to continue growing the brand; it is a small team so there is definitely work to do but they are the first ones to roll up their sleeves which feels good as someone working there. There is not a lot of corporate language or hierarchy, so if you are driven to continue accelerating in your career there is a lot of potential for continued growth & advancement. It is definitely a startup and you have to roll up your sleeves at times, but overall the environment feels good in that there is a genuine care about the team and how people are doing / feeling. Even beyond my time there I will still maintain a connection with the people there as they were all largely great and supportive of one another.
Cons
While it may seem like a bigger operation on the outside it is a very nimble team so every role is essential and tasked with owning a lot. The team has gotten better over the years at prioritizing projects and creating more process that helps to organize what's more important cross-functionally.
