Don’t suggest Biopsy role - Sales Representative Mammotome Employee Review

STOP DELETING BAD REVIEWS MAMMOTOME. The biopsy division has older products and hard to keep getting growth each year. MAMMOTOME is cheap with product manufacture (I get it Danaher wants to save money but cheaper products are not always better.) Revolve used to always work but when Mammotome was bought by Danaher they started swapping out for cheaper products that is causing a TON of issues. Hologic has a new capital biopsy system that is taking market share and hard to compete. Mammotome also launched a horrible Core Needle and it didn’t take off (where was the market research there!) Be prepared to not make much money Certain years as a Biopsy rep (when loose a huge account hard to make up and there are some big Revolve accounts and detrimental if lost.) some managers understand this and not sure regional VPs get it either. I would NOT suggest Biopsy rep role unless trying to break into medical device. There is also ALoT of turnover in Biopsy Division and that is for a reason. Just bc this is women’s health Mammotome will still be cut throat to reps.
