Pros

The director, coach, and other agents in the office are nice, but nice doesn't equal success or a paycheck.

Cons

Extremely low compensation, little to no legitimate listing opportunities, the majority of your time is spent driving 2+ hours to bad appts, hardly any agent support, and you're still 100% held accountable for your lack of performance, even though all responsibility is on MSRE and the call center. The call center has "goals" to meet, so the CSR's are just booking any and all appointments they can get on the calendar without confirming interest or true motivation. MSRE is very strict about the LA's NOT confirming appts prior to the appt due to the high cancellation rate. Although most appts, when you actually show up, they don't answer the door or aren't interested in selling then or ever. The seller(s) just wanted a CMA and to see what their house was worth or what they could sell for. If you do get a listing, it's most likely going to be the lowest, crappiest house on the market and won't sell. They have favoritism and hand-pick specific higher dollar show-ready home appts for only the agents they want to give them to. This was one of the worst real estate sales experiences I've ever had. I would encourage you to stay far away if you want to actually make money and sell. Even if you're brand new. I promise, you'd be much better off joining a top-producing team at KW, EXP, Compass, or another well-known brokerage.

Pros

Remote work. No other pros.

Cons

Low moral across inside teams. Separation of departments. Lack of transparency on any company changes or policy changes. There is no HR/Employee handbook. Senior leadership is not kind and lacks empathy. (Clicky) Volume is insane. Micro management at its heaviest. It is now a call center. Expect high call volume and no breaks. Job description does not match actual work. Bonus structure is weak. No opportunity for career advancement. If you wanna be underpaid and under appreciated, this is the place for you. This is not a real estate position. It’s a call center and you’re penalized for providing good customer service. The bonus structure is a ratio. Any call over 45 seconds count negatively against you and takes money from your bonus. I wouldn’t recommend this job to my worth enemy.
