Very two faced company

Pros

The agents and admins were great to work with and the infrastructure makes it easy to get started with no experience in real estate.

Cons

Ownership!! The owners are the most two faced people I have ever met. They constantly say they want to help people succeed and have a “big life” but could honestly care less. The only concern is profit and growing the company as big as possible. They target mostly millennials who are too naive to know they shouldn’t have to work 60+ hour weeks, put 20k miles on your car in a year, attend mandatory meetings (even though you are 1099), get no benefits and make maybe $50k. In the beginning these guys sound like altruistic angels with “servants hearts” but the whole company is based on lies and deception (just try getting details on the guaranteed sale program). They make all these bogus claims that the agents don’t know enough to see through and take advantage of paying well below industry standards until people smarten up and leave. Turn over is insane and they will fire anyone who asks too many questions.

Pros

Great exposure of the company through TV, radio and bill board ads.

Cons

You are given loads of leads when you first start and most of them are just people curious about homes they saw on Zillow. If you cannot convert those leads into a sale within a fairly quick time frame they hold off sending you any more leads. If you do get one to closing the commission split is actually lower than quoted after you take out transaction fees and royalty fees. Lastly, as a Real Estate agent and independent contractor I do not get paid for attending meetings and outside functions, which occur way too frequently, however you are frowned upon for not attending.
