Pros

Co workers were nice. This company is good at hiring nice hard working people.

Cons

There is no opportunity here for anyone other than the owners. The commission earned as an agent here is a small fraction of what similar companies pay. Their entire marketing plan is built on a bait and switch promise to buy your home if it doesn’t sell, but they don’t do that. When I was hired I was told they were phasing that out, but in the 2 years I was there this type of marketing only increased. It was really embarrassing going on listing appointments where people beloved Mark was going to give them an offer and buy their home and we were instructed to dance around the subject and to never discuss via email or in writing. It’s hard to sell something when your entire relationship with the seller is built on a lie. Also When I worked there they actually reduced the amount of commission and hired so many new people that they had to decrease the number of leads given out. I felt very unappreciated and taken advantage of. When I tried to discuss this with management they said maybe I wasn’t the right fit for them. So basically they felt they had enough leverage to decrease my pay and they didn’t care at all because agents are disposable to them.

We are a high-performance sales team so we certainly aren't for everyone! In addition, we have actually raised commission opportunities in the last year for high performers. - John Makarewicz

Pros

Remote work. No other pros.

Cons

Low moral across inside teams. Separation of departments. Lack of transparency on any company changes or policy changes. There is no HR/Employee handbook. Senior leadership is not kind and lacks empathy. (Clicky) Volume is insane. Micro management at its heaviest. It is now a call center. Expect high call volume and no breaks. Job description does not match actual work. Bonus structure is weak. No opportunity for career advancement. If you wanna be underpaid and under appreciated, this is the place for you. This is not a real estate position. It’s a call center and you’re penalized for providing good customer service. The bonus structure is a ratio. Any call over 45 seconds count negatively against you and takes money from your bonus. I wouldn’t recommend this job to my worth enemy.
