Pros

Limited supervision, easiest delivery method I'm aware of, benefits are good, vacation is substantial, pay is very good, and equipment is better than decent and getting better.

Cons

Schedule, schedule, schedule. At the DFW location in Roanoke, TX they run a lot of teams. Your home time will be nothing. You will start as an extraboard employee running at the mercy of management. If you do not like teams, meaning long routes of 18-30 hours, sleeping on a truck, or you like working solo this job is not for you. However, the pay is great. You will make between 60k and 70k your first year easy. If you can take a year or two of extraboard and team runs, you can score a local route which is usually 4 days a week and making in the ballpark of 70k to 80k. There are a lot of 20 year veterans, a few 30 year veterans and a guy with over 40 years in. Seniority is a long way to the top. 7 years will put you in the middle of the pack of roughly 100 drivers.

Pros

Pays okay good coworkers Okay hours

Cons

Lied to get most of us in the door. Management will promise you one thing then gaslight you when you ask about those things. Management is nowhere to be seen when the actual work is being done, most are working 4-6 hour days 3-4 days a week. Very reactive rather than proactive in their approach to running the business.
