Business Outlook
Pros
Decent pay and benefits. The job also keeps you in shape. 4, 10 hour shifts, when they're not forcing you to work 4, 12's + an extra mandatory shift.
Cons
We're getting paid the lowest in our industry. We're forced to work 60 hours a week and with the physical nature of the job it makes it very difficult. Constant pain and fatigue. Little to no growth. Monotonous, mind numbing work. Inept management. You'll be working here for 10 years before you can work day shift with one weekend day off. The company does not care about you. You're treated as if you're replaceable. You're working with people with GED's and HS diplomas. Many still behave like they're in HS. Toxic workplace.
