Pros

I've never been inclined to write a Glassdoor review, but I saw some posts from I guess some random angry former employees and figured I'd weigh in. Not sure how someone can accuse anyone here of not being authentically mission-driven. Lol. Scaling a company is hard and never perfect, we work really hard here and things change and startup life is definitely not for everybody. It's a work in progress. But I've been here almost 2 years and my team and I are literally helping women and families everyday. I'm so proud of our mission and the company we're building. Glad that people opt out so things can stay positive at the office.

Cons

It's a startup! Change happens, things move fast. In the end the work is rewarding though.

Pros

I joined Maven in September because the mission resonated, and the work genuinely lives up to it. The impact on members isn't marketing language. It's the actual product of what people here do every day. A few things that have stood out: - I've already been promoted, which says a lot about how the company recognizes contribution and growth. - I have real autonomy to own my work and move things forward without being bottlenecked. - The culture is collaborative in a way that's rare, and people across the org have been generous with their time and support. If you care about doing meaningful work and want to be somewhere that bets on you early, Maven is worth a serious look.

Cons

Fast paced environment, but that's expected (and honestly part of the appeal) for a company in this stage of growth.

Pros

Met some coworkers turned life long friends

Cons

This place destroyed my mental health. Management does not care about you, they only care about the numbers on the paper.
