- Amazing mission, and really clear alignment of Maven's business model to impact on this mission. - Passionate, innovative and charismatic CEO and leader - Great team of people who care about improving women's health - The company is at the point of tackling really hard data and product problems and has the resources to make an impact

Cons

- It's still a startup so there is a lot of change — redeveloping of process, responsibilities, and goals. If you go into Maven clear-eyed and understand that the company is still growing with an amazing opportunity in front of them, this will be ok. If you expect everything to be solved, and to just take orders, this can be difficult.

I joined Maven in September because the mission resonated, and the work genuinely lives up to it. The impact on members isn't marketing language. It's the actual product of what people here do every day. A few things that have stood out: - I've already been promoted, which says a lot about how the company recognizes contribution and growth. - I have real autonomy to own my work and move things forward without being bottlenecked. - The culture is collaborative in a way that's rare, and people across the org have been generous with their time and support. If you care about doing meaningful work and want to be somewhere that bets on you early, Maven is worth a serious look.

Cons

Fast paced environment, but that's expected (and honestly part of the appeal) for a company in this stage of growth.
