Pros
Smoke and mirrors. I was sold something that wasn’t reality. I left a stable and positive culture for this mess. The culture is the worst I’ve ever seen. Infighting with executives spills over everywhere. Zero cohesive leadership. No equitable practices to set you up for success, and it’s clear that it’s from the top down. I would never work for anyone in the leadership team and nor would I recommend any of them to anyone who is considering leaving a job for this mission. Horrific execution and leadership.
Cons
The culture is bad. No one is happy. It is clear that unrealistic expectations, siloed demands to serve individual agendas which line unworthy or “favorite” people up for promotion is how Maven works. Toxic managers literally backstab other leaders to their teams openly. HR is in place to execute firing. I have never seen a turnover rate where people who do the work are disposable for errors that start with strategies developed by incompetent executives at the top.
