NO RAISES-EVER actually after MQ acquired us in a buyout my pay was cut twice within the year. More and more work being sent off-shore-the account I had been assigned to for over 10 years was taken away from us due to outsourcing-no warning, just.....GONE! Familiarity was the only way I was making anything close to a paycheck. Upper management does not give a crap about transcriptionists and how a pay cut impacts them... it's not we were making $70,000.00 a year and a 10% pay cut, plus other things taken away (production bonus, Internet reimbursement) would put most of us into financial danger. A year ago I went to part-time with MQ to accept a part-time position in a different field for more $$$. Best move I ever made. While trying to decide if I should accept the offer of a full time with other employer ( and after another recent "MT Reward" of another pay cut) my account was suddenly sent to India..... pretty much made the decision for me.
