Pros
- No doubt the best sales training you’ll get coming out of college - Exposure to different industries - Meet some amazing people - They have improved the incentive structure
Cons
- memoryBlue 5 Star Review Campaign. memoryBlue’s employee and client attrition rate is SO HIGH, so the company has pushed current clients to leave 5 stars reviews on websites like G2 because they had nothing but awful reviews. This can also be seen from an employee perspective due to high employee attrition and the difficulty of hiring good talent due to bad reviews from current and former employees. Take all of reviews with a grain of salt of course but the racing reviews are HIGHLY inflated. - Unrealistic Quotas and Metrics Needed to succeed (Mainly due to different clients and objectives of the clients. Most of the clients have no idea about your quota) - Pay is LOW and the incentive structure is weak - Your success is very dependent on the client you support. Remember mB is a cost alternative to hiring internal sales teams meaning they have problems (Bad product, bad leadership, etc) - Delivery Managers are hit or miss. Most have no management experience and have adopted their skills from memoryBlue’s sink or swim culture. - Lack of transparency from upper management. All communication comes down from the chain of command and leadership doesn’t do a great job at making them accessible outside of quarterly business reviews. Last year they fired an entire recruiting team, recently just fired our Head of Sales, and fired the Head of Delivery without mentioning anything - 5 Days/Week in office
