Pros
The pay is decent for recent graduates
Cons
I began working at Meneses shortly after graduating college. I stayed at Meneses for a little over a year, and I witnessed many unethical things occur behind closed doors. Upper management was constantly firing employees and watched over us through several cameras. Shortly after I began working, the 401k program Meneses had promised me and other workers was removed. Months after that, the bonus that they promised hard working employees was also taken away. They blamed our lack of bonuses on a previous director and claimed he was not monitoring our productivity correctly (How is this the employees fault?) Along with removing bonuses all together, they expected productivity to be at an all time high. When me and other team members explained to management why we could not work faster, they pushed our concerns to the side. I was given an unfair workload compared to others on my team but felt pressured to complete these cases out of fear that I would lose my job. Speaking up to HR about the unfair treatment I received only lead to more backlash. I know it’s challenging to find a job in this economy, especially for new writers. You may think you can get away without any issues at Meneses if you keep your head down and remain silent, but even this doesn’t work. If they don’t like you, they’ll target you until they find a reason to fire you or you quit. You can’t even trust the positive reviews on these sites because Meneses law tries to bribe their employees to leave good reviews with Starbucks gift cards. They also report honest reviews and try to cover up their unethical behavior. Avoid this place at all cost, as they will only make you miserable. Your mental health is worth more than what this company offers you.
