Pros

The night staff was kind and the ICU nurses are knowledgeable.

Cons

I returned to this hospital to help during the pandemic. In my experience- there was bullying and what came across to me as a lack of safety. The bullying was so severe from one nurse that I requested to switch units. I was told that I was stupid for not sharing the same political beliefs and that I didn’t deserve any “hand outs” from the government from a nurse social worker. I’m in the top 5% of wealth in my city and hold an esteemed leadership position in my actual career but because my role at this hospital was lower level, it seemed to be assumed that I was poor and she believed I was advocating this solely for my own interest. Additionally, I left due to what I felt were unsafe conditions. My fiancé and I acquired covid likely because a house supervisor misplaced several positive covid patients in the unit I was working in. It was hastily cleaned and the transporter moving the patients was walking around in the hallway with soiled PPE.
