Pros

Merlin card, near Pier 39, people visit from all over the country, free admission to the attraction

Cons

Grab a snack this is going to be one heck of a read....I will list by the areas that I have seen that need work in the almost 3 years that I have worked here. Favortism - This place runs on favortism and that gets you far depending on which manager takes a liking to you. There is one there that is really bad about this and gives people ideal schedules if you are "cool" with him. I am pretty sure he is violating some sort of policy on fraternization. Violation of labor laws- they have issues understanding breaks and lunches mean you don't have to work. Already sued for violations. Also, sick people can't leave because they are short so they tell employees not to go anywhere until they shut down. Dishonest about attraction- boat ride in dungeon breaks down a lot and the associates in front have to say its open. When too many people complain, then they put a sign out, but its usually small and hard to make sense of. Drop ride in dungeon doesn't always work and people are not allowed to ride if they are too big. That's right. You get kicked off for being TOO FAT. Unprofessional to employees - the management here is lacking and they think yelling at people is normal part of position. You get sick, its unprofessional. You have kids and have priorities outside of work, it's unprofessional. You can't show up for your shift for any reason, its unprofessional. Also, there is this photo company there that the enjoy treating like crap. No one understands why. Schedule domination - this company tries to take over your schedule and therefore, take over your life. You have to be available days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. They will say they respect it and then crap all over you when there is a conflict. Extra pay- this company doesn't pay overtime or time and a half for holidays. They hate offering full-time unless they have to and they cut hours as they see fit.
