Pros

Coworkers are friendly because it's full of young people.

Cons

This job is the walmart and laughing stock of all the U.S. airlines. Expect to make LESS than minimum wage per day. You waste more time in this job than the money you get paid. Flight benefits are only good if you can even get on.. Mesa airlines has the lowest boarding priority so you are always at the BOTTOM of the standby list..Don't expect to travel anywhere cool on your layovers..We mostly go to smaller cities and stay in cheap BED bug infested hotels. The flight attendants have complained for years of the same dirty hotels but we stay there because they are the cheapest. To anyone reading this, do yourself a favor and go to a better regional like skywest or envoy only if MAINLINE won't hired you..Getting onto a regional is fairly easier than major airlines. The job in itself is very easy and I enjoy it but this company is the worst, they do not value their employee..They are always looking for ways to get people fired and they will write you up for anything just to replace you with someone NEWER and someone they can pay their starting rate. It is almost impossible to have a life when you are on reserve..You only have 9 days off a month and the other days, EXPECT to be at work,,No social life and don't even think about getting sick and you can only have ONE sick day in the first 6 months on probation. This is literally the worst job I've ever had but it's so life consuming that you don't have the time nor energy to find another job because you're either always away from home or you are exhausted. This job is very stressful. Don't expect to have any form of a social life. Please AVOID. You will thank me later!!!
