Pros
I have been with Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare for nearly five years in my role as a Corporate Talent Acquisition Partner, and it has been an incredibly positive experience. The culture is supportive, mission-driven, and rooted in respect. Executive and senior leadership are strong, approachable, and deeply committed to doing what’s right for both employees and the community we serve.
Leadership places a high value on promoting from within, and it’s not just talk—you consistently see internal talent recognized, developed, and advanced. This commitment creates trust, motivation, and long-term engagement across the organization.
As a recruiter, I truly appreciate how leadership collaborates with the Talent Acquisition team to attract top talent. Recruiters are treated as strategic partners, not just order-takers. We are supported, listened to, and given the resources needed to be successful, which makes a meaningful difference in our ability to deliver results.
Overall, Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare is a place where people matter, growth is encouraged, and leadership genuinely leads by example.
Cons
As with any nonprofit healthcare organization, there can be resource limitations, but leadership is transparent and thoughtful in how challenges are addressed. And with the culture being as amazing as it is, and the encouragement to have work-life balance, limited resources are hardly noticeable.
