Pros
There is a long list of positives about Mews, but to summarize it into a few points: 1. It's a company for driven people that are hungry to achieve great things in their careers. It grew incredibly fast from a tiny startup, into being market-leader with a huge buzz and potential. You can accomplish a lot here if you work with passion and work hard. The sky is the limit. 2. There is a true sense of purpose in what Mews is doing and it is what keeps people engaged, excited to work here and attracts so much interest and attention. You can feel that people actually love what they do - even on those intense, hard days when things are not going perfectly great. 3. The people - there is a lot of friendship, a lot of family-like feeling in the team. Yes, there are times when we get on each other's nerves or we disagree, but at the end of the day, it feels like one big team that cares for each other. Just like family does.
Cons
Mews certainly isn't for everyone. It's a very fast-paced company that changes rapidly, which is a lot of fun, but for someone who likes corporate structure, it can be too stressful. The culture is very friendly, easy going and is for people with a sense of entrepreneurship. If you need to be micro-managed or told how to do your job, Mews is perhaps not the right place.
