Pros

Remote work, good pay overall

Cons

Lack of communication. The training and trainers is the worst thing that you will ever experience. They will usually try their best to make it a competition since day one during the training and will always pick someone to try to make them quit. It seems like they need to hit a certain hiring number but they'll get rid of you after completing the quota. This is something that not inly me experienced but many others who had can share the same exact story. They'll make it look like you are not understanding when in fact you are understanding everything pretty good and when you are also receiving great feedback from your own colleagues. If you are unlucky enough like me. You will end up having a Team Lead who has never done such job and can't be someone to count with when it comes to finding solutions to a situation related to your job when working with cases.

Thank you for your feedback. I'd like to address a few points raised in your review: Our train the trainer programme in Support lasts up 6 weeks and is run by a professional trainer who is fully dedicated to supporting our new joiners and making sure they have all the knowledge, tools and relationships they need to be successful in their roles. At Mews, we strive to create a safe, supportive environment for everyone to learn, especially our new starters, because we know there is a lot of information to digest in your first few months. To be clear, we don't tolerate any level of victimisation and will look into the claims you've raised. You've also raised concerns about your manager's ability. Upskilling our managers is a key focus at Mews. Last year we launched our Remarkable Managers programme giving our managers the opportunity to develop skills related to leading a team, including performance management and sharing feedback. We appreciate you sharing your review, it helps us to improve. If you'd like to discuss anything further, please get in touch with our people team

Pros

The best corporate experience I’ve ever had. People are easy to engage with, you’re always able to go to anyone in the business for questions or requests, and there is a lot of opportunity for immense visibility (in a good way!). It’s a rare experience to feel so critical, valued, and individualized in a company and I have felt that every day over the last year. Truly a wonderful company with some really great people.

Cons

Can be really fast paced at times, you have to be willing to be self sufficient and a good getter mentality to handle ambiguous circumstances at times. With time zone challenges, you also have to be adaptable and quick for certain requests.

Thank you for such a thoughtful review. It’s wonderful to hear you’ve felt so valued, visible and able to make an impact over the past year. That’s the experience we want people to have at Mews. You’re right that our pace calls for proactivity and ownership, and working across time zones adds another layer of complexity to navigate. We’re glad that’s felt like a worthy trade-off.

Pros

there are awesome people that work at mews!

Cons

- tons of internally meetings every single day that take away from reps being able to do their job - lots of internal trainings as well - processes were constantly changing - high quotas that are impossible to hit so you will not see much $ in commission
