Pros

There is a pool of talented passionate colleagues (many of whom have left or trying to) Fast paced environment with global exposure Strong bold approach to changing hotel tech

Cons

Toxic positivity from leadership that deflects rather than addresses real concerns HR lacks credibility and is seen as an extention of leadership not advocates for the employees Long hours, shifting expectations, and performance pressure with no empathy or support Professionalism not upheld consistently - derogatory language and inappropriate behavior go unchecked . Retaliation culture: an employee who lost their mother was put on a PIP the day they returned to work - a heartbreaking example of how compassion is sorely lacking (they just left BTW, wonder why)

Thanks for your review. Please note that I read all reviews personally, and I never take feedback lightly. We are a fast moving company, and with high growth come high expectations. If we continue growing by more than 50% every single year, and we have to do that whilst we build in constraint in resources, to show we also become more effective and efficient, this means we need people to help us rethink processes constantly. Unfortunately with the high pace of innovation we expect, something that worked for us last year, may no longer work this year. So we have to focus on those people that can re-invent themselves and our processes constantly, and we bring in a lot of new talent that have been through some of the changes in previous roles. This is really really hard, and that pressure is something that I personally love, but also understand it is not for everyone. We do have great internal anonymous channels where you can share your feedback. We also have People Business Partners for all teams, who you can reach out to and speak off-the-record to ensure feedback is shared upwards. It is hard to engage in a debate in a platform like this, because we can never get to specific details on a public forum. As always, if you are open to it, I would love to talk to you, just drop me a message on Slack. Kind regards, Matt/CEO

Pros

The best corporate experience I’ve ever had. People are easy to engage with, you’re always able to go to anyone in the business for questions or requests, and there is a lot of opportunity for immense visibility (in a good way!). It’s a rare experience to feel so critical, valued, and individualized in a company and I have felt that every day over the last year. Truly a wonderful company with some really great people.

Cons

Can be really fast paced at times, you have to be willing to be self sufficient and a good getter mentality to handle ambiguous circumstances at times. With time zone challenges, you also have to be adaptable and quick for certain requests.

Thank you for such a thoughtful review. It’s wonderful to hear you’ve felt so valued, visible and able to make an impact over the past year. That’s the experience we want people to have at Mews. You’re right that our pace calls for proactivity and ownership, and working across time zones adds another layer of complexity to navigate. We’re glad that’s felt like a worthy trade-off.

Pros

there are awesome people that work at mews!

Cons

- tons of internally meetings every single day that take away from reps being able to do their job - lots of internal trainings as well - processes were constantly changing - high quotas that are impossible to hit so you will not see much $ in commission
