Pros

The compensation and benefits are competitive, which is one of the few redeeming qualities. Some individual contributors are exceptionally talented, supportive, and great to collaborate with. Most of the positives come from peers—not from leadership or company structure.

Cons

Account Executives are given an inflated sales manager title yet essentially treated like business development reps, with identical KPIs plus a quota. The level of support you receive heavily depends on your manager, but in many cases, you’re set up to fail. There’s minimal hands-on training on how to actually sell the product—just endless online modules and poorly organized resources, expectations are unclear, and you’re expected to self-navigate through a confusing internal system. Sales training is disjointed, and reps have even missed commission payouts due to customers not paying invoices—while the company invests in flashy marketing like Times Square ads. Unfortunately, this was the most disappointing professional experience I’ve had.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're glad you found the compensation and benefits competitive, and it’s great to hear that your peers played a meaningful role in your time at Mews. We genuinely value the collaboration and camaraderie across our teams. We're sorry to hear that you didn't feel supported in terms of training. Our sales enablement team is fully dedicated to supporting our commercial organisation, with structured onboarding, regular training sessions, and on-demand resources. We do expect Mewsers to be proactive and take ownership of their development - which can include some self-learning - but we aim to balance that with clear guidance and support. We’re continually evolving how we train, onboard, and support our teams, and feedback like yours helps us improve. We wish you all the best in your next role.

Pros

The best corporate experience I’ve ever had. People are easy to engage with, you’re always able to go to anyone in the business for questions or requests, and there is a lot of opportunity for immense visibility (in a good way!). It’s a rare experience to feel so critical, valued, and individualized in a company and I have felt that every day over the last year. Truly a wonderful company with some really great people.

Cons

Can be really fast paced at times, you have to be willing to be self sufficient and a good getter mentality to handle ambiguous circumstances at times. With time zone challenges, you also have to be adaptable and quick for certain requests.

Thank you for such a thoughtful review. It’s wonderful to hear you’ve felt so valued, visible and able to make an impact over the past year. That’s the experience we want people to have at Mews. You’re right that our pace calls for proactivity and ownership, and working across time zones adds another layer of complexity to navigate. We’re glad that’s felt like a worthy trade-off.

Pros

there are awesome people that work at mews!

Cons

- tons of internally meetings every single day that take away from reps being able to do their job - lots of internal trainings as well - processes were constantly changing - high quotas that are impossible to hit so you will not see much $ in commission
