Never imagined I’d write this about a place I used to love - Anonymous Employee Michael Kors Employee Review

Pros

The pay’s reasonable, benefits are solid, and team dynamics can be decent—though that really depends on who you report to. A good manager can make the day-to-day manageable, but that consistency isn’t guaranteed.

Cons

Toxic doesn’t even begin to cover it. The workplace culture has deteriorated under poor leadership -people in charge either lack a backbone or turn a blind eye. There’s blatant favoritism, leaders who gaslight their teams, and an HR function that no longer advocates for employees. Instead of acting as a trusted partner, HR now operates more like an extension of leadership’s worst impulses. The result? A culture where speaking up feels risky and doing the right thing rarely gets rewarded.

Pros

At one point it was the discounts til they changed the policies up during my fifth (and final year at the store). Aside from that, working with my fellow colleagues were the ones responsible for keeping the work environment together and made the experience much more fun and bearable.

Cons

As a part-timer, there's no benefits or any additional incentives. They'll "reduce your hours" if you're not meeting sales "expectations" by zoning you in different parts of the store that doesn't have a lot of foot traffic (i.e. cashier or front of house). Depending on who you work with on the management side of things... this job can make or break you. Last group of managers I had were NOT the most ideal examples when you give them "actionable feedback" and not follow through with their expectations.
