Pros
-Can be (depending on your store or work crew) a fun working environment -If you're into crafting, you can enjoy working in a place surrounded by products you enjoy using, and put your knowledge to good use assisting others with their projects.
Cons
-As with most large-scale retailers, hours can be crazy (especially for full timers) -Pay is low, especially for skilled workers (custom framers) -No commission for conducting framing sales. They always push for higher numbers, despite offering no incentive -In the current economic state, there are many people working for the company at the store level who are more educated than their managers. This can create an environment where the manager feels it necessary to constantly keep their workers under their finger to prevent them from making any sort of advancement, for fear of losing their jobs to the more intelligent (and possibly qualified) employees. -Corporate is CONSTANTLY coming out with "exciting" new ideas that I swear are just their way of keeping busy to retain their jobs. When they finally find something that works, you can be sure they will change things again a month or two later, just for fun. Honestly, most of it makes zero sense, and it creates confusion and frustration in the workplace.
