Pros
Working replenishment, you (usually) don't have to deal with those customers that give you your life story and you don't have to keep your work area neat. It's a fairly easy job if you don't mind early hours and heavy lifting.
Cons
Scheduling - How is someone supposed to survive off of 10 hours a week? Some people at my location are asked to come in early, stay late, work on their day off, etc., but when you ask for hours, there are none available. Yet, the minute you pick up a second job, you're scheduled 30 hours. Also, days are always being added to the schedule without notifying us. You quickly learn to check your schedule everyday. Time allotted to do work - When I first started, we were always given 7 hours to complete the truck. Now, we're given 4-5 hours (regardless off truck size) and we're constantly being told we're not working fast enough. Communication between managers - If one manager approves availability changes and another makes the schedule, it would probably be smart to make sure the scheduling manager is aware. Attendance and punctuality - People who are constantly 10-15 minutes late or call out because they missed their alarm should not be given four or five 8 hour shifts and the people who are constantly 10-15 minutes early and have perfect attendance should not be given one or two 5 hour shifts. Common courtesy - Managers should not be telling their employees on a daily basis that they are horrible at doing the job. It's rude and unprofessional.
