Pros

It's a good work environment. You get to work with people that are also interested in computer hardware.

Cons

If you aren't proactive in getting commissions through store protection plan sales, spiffs, etc, you can find better paying jobs at other retail locations. There is plenty of other workplaces that offer cashier positions that have a much higher base pay than here. If you are proactive in commission sales, you can easily make a lot more than what you're base pay is. But if you're not, then you're better off somewhere else.

Thank you for the "4 Star" review. Our goal is to give our associates unlimited earning potential with our commission program so the base pay is less than some others pay but still very competitive. We also want to give those associates who want to sell the opportunity for career growth by being able to move onto our sales floor in different departments depending upon interest and knowledge. Best of luck and thank you for your years with us - it's been crazy with COVID and we appreciate all that you did during that time.

The organization provides exposure across multiple business functions, allowing leaders to build well rounded operational and commercial skill sets. High performance environment that rewards ownership, initiative, and results.

Cons

As a smaller, specialized retailer, organizational growth and upward mobility may take longer compared to larger big-box companies. Resources and infrastructure are still evolving in certain areas, which can require leaders to be more hands-on. High expectations and pace can create pressure during peak periods, requiring strong prioritization and resilience. Some systems and processes have a learning curve, particularly for leaders coming from larger, more standardized organizations.
