Pros

Overall, most of the people here are very good to work with. Some areas of the company have very small, flat organizational structures, but with large scope - sort of a double-edged sword; there's far too much work for the small number of people to reasonably handle, but you also don't feel like such a small cog in a larger machine, either. Depending on how you feel about business travel, there can be a fair amount of it, domestically and internationally - this could be a pro or con.

Cons

Perhaps for the reason above, and others, there's a fair amount of employee turnover, which means continuity is hard to maintain. The company grows every year, top and bottom, but our budgets were getting cut every year. Most salaries (except those in the upper-most levels) are also quite a bit on the lower side of the market, with hardly any chance for a raise, and when combined with mandatory working Saturdays, this also explains some of the turnover. Oh, and the lack of heating in any of the buildings - this last point is incredibly embarrassing when we have visitors freezing to death, in the headquarters even, considering Midea is perhaps the largest HVAC OEM in the world.

Pros

New building Free snacks and coffee Unlimited PTO

Cons

No diversity PTO will be used against you. Don't come here if you are experienced. Young, inexperienced and arrogant are promoted who have nothing to offer other than ignorance 😔 KPI is a wasted effort. Growth is non-existent Don't fall for "Research" center. It is misleading. You will be launching subpar products. Dog and pony show gets noticed.
