The starting salary at first glance appears appealing, especially to a new grad. That said, the benefits are so horrid that they really detract from the salary. No 401k match, expensive health insurance with insane deductible, 36 hours of PTO per year. Ownership will say their pay is great and competitive, but there are definitely comparable salaries with much better benefits out there. I get that healthcare is a business and everyone has to make money to keep the lights on, but putting quotas on how much imaging you need to order per quarter seems not great.

I’ve been with Midwest Express Clinic for about 3 years, and it’s been a great experience. The company has a diverse and welcoming environment where employees are treated like part of a family. It’s refreshing to work for an organization that genuinely values teamwork, respect, and providing quality care to patients. One of the biggest strengths of the company is its upper management. They are approachable, supportive, and willing to listen to employee feedback. You can tell they care about the success of both the clinics and the people who work there, and they do a great job of creating a positive work environment. The HR team has also been excellent to work with. They’re professional, responsive, and always willing to help with questions or concerns. They’ve made onboarding, communication, and employee support a smooth process. Overall, I’m grateful to be part of Midwest Express Clinic and would recommend it to anyone looking for a positive, team-oriented workplace with strong leadership and opportunities to grow.
