Pros

When we worked with decent people it was fine, but they made the work environment so bad the good people quit and were replaced with the people that have made multiple employees cry.

Cons

Management is horrible. They don’t know how to manage. These people know nothing about leadership. The threaten staff left and right with write ups and termination. You never know if you have job security because management will come up to you and let you know how well your doing one day and the very next will send you a write up without speaking you about it, leaving you confused and insulted. They don’t train you properly and then blame you when you don’t know how to anything calling you lazy and as if we should pick up all these skills right away through online modules without question. The CEO loves to talk to about himself and how great he is as if that makes a difference in the high turnover of employees. Refused to give any raises saying he’s making 5% less than last year one day and the next week talks about how his company numbers are so great and they are doing so amazing. There’s so much manipulation you don’t know what’s real and what’s fake news.

Pros

The money, and offer of more money if you try to leave

Cons

Most of the great reviews on here were directed by management. They would tell us to write great reviews then give a bonus for it. -You can see 2-3x as many patients as other urgent cares -the CEO watches the cameras and makes sure you’re not charting if it’s a full waiting room. Will threaten to replace you if you are. -you are discouraged to have patient follow up with their own primary care and to appropriate specialist, they want the providers to pretend to be specialty -mid levels are responsible for performing MA duties such as triaging and testing -poorly trained MAs giving incorrect vitals and documenting the wrong results on the wrong patient -CEO posted on their slack platform how rich he is. -CEO one day will tell everyone how great they are, the next day every isn’t working hard enough and can be replaced. You never know what mood you’ll get

Pros

Working 3 days a week. Good experience, lots to learn

Cons

Like many reviews have said, management offered incentives for employees to leave good reviews- so I would take them with a grain of salt. MEC was good when the ceo was still running things, when he stepped out and the mean girls ( CM girls) took over a lot of people became unhappy. Seeing 60+ patients a shift is not safe, nor should be allowed accidents have and will continue to happen. HR is actually a joke, they are not helpful at all, especially the one who oversees the Indiana clinics- don’t bother even messaging her, or ask her for anything- message her superior; she’s is WAY more competent. Money is good, but it’s not the best considering there’s basically no benefits offered, only 72 hours of PTO a year ( 6 days).

Thank you for sharing your thoughts about your experience with us. We understand your concern with patient volume and staffing. Volumes have increased in the last several months; however they remained consistent and manageable for all of our providers for the majority of 2023. We appreciate your dedication to providing quality care to our patients. We apologize if you feel that there are issues with our Human Resources team. We strive to respond in a timely matter and with accurate information. We understand the importance of work-life balance and will review your concerns about PTO. We ensure this aligns with the expectations set, as benefits are discussed on several occasions during the hiring process. Your feedback is valuable and will help to create a more empathetic and supportive work environment. We apologize if you feel that there are issues with our Human Resources team.
