Great place to learn and grow as a new NP! You will definitely see a large variety of cases. Collaborating physicians and other NPs is excellent.

Cons

Sometimes you have to work by yourself as the sole provider.

Since we are an urgent care clinic, there could be anything and everything that we encounter and it provides a lot of valuable experience that will help you grow. We are growing rapidly as a company and sometimes we may not be fully staffed for a day or so, but we make sure to have all of our clinics well-staffed to treat our patients as best as possible. I’ve been with Midwest Express Clinic for about 3 years, and it’s been a great experience. The company has a diverse and welcoming environment where employees are treated like part of a family. It’s refreshing to work for an organization that genuinely values teamwork, respect, and providing quality care to patients. One of the biggest strengths of the company is its upper management. They are approachable, supportive, and willing to listen to employee feedback. You can tell they care about the success of both the clinics and the people who work there, and they do a great job of creating a positive work environment. The HR team has also been excellent to work with. They’re professional, responsive, and always willing to help with questions or concerns. They’ve made onboarding, communication, and employee support a smooth process. Overall, I’m grateful to be part of Midwest Express Clinic and would recommend it to anyone looking for a positive, team-oriented workplace with strong leadership and opportunities to grow.
