Pros

Other care navigators are absolutely wonderful.

Cons

Constant lack of communication between everyone. No one really knows what is going on most of the time when it comes to something outside of the daily norm. Trainings don’t have much warning to them. When training was thrown into a different position than what I was actually hired on for and the people training me had no idea what was happening with me or my coworkers training either. Schedule changes happen without warning. Not entirely safe with Covid either, very relaxed rules when it comes to it. Which made me feel uncomfortable at work. Lack of training on how to deal with and talk to elevated guest.

Pros

Working for mile high has changed my life for the better management is very understanding when it comes to family and self-care. They are easy to talk with and when problems come up they act fast to find a solution.

Cons

Every job has cons....but the only con for mile high that I can think of is there is limited office space. :)

Pros

Meaningful work, amazing clients, and a strong team. My team was one of the best teams I have ever worked with. Most of the know what they're doing, and if they don't, they will go through the appropriate channels to figure it out. Obviously, the clients are always tough in community mental health, though my former clients and coworkers were the only reasons I stayed for as long as I did.

Cons

Management. To put it plainly, if you're not a favorite, prepare to be pushed to the side every single time. There are also significant pay disparities between programs without logical justification.
