Pros

The free food was great but now that we can work from home that is even better.

Cons

Support is overworked and under staffed. It's always been this way since I've worked here. Leadership always tries to talk a big game about how things will change but nothing ever does except for people leaving which creates bigger holes to fill. Manager roles were filled out of desperation which is really showing now as there is no leadership or direction anymore.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. Your post on Glassdoor is anonymous, yet I am confident you and I met through our recruiting process, orientation, and other business interactions. Most of our staff are exhilarated by the opportunities provided by a company that is busy and growing and are not looking to do less in their days. I understand this is not for everyone, yet it is our culture. I personally work because I love what I do. I do not look to do less. I look to accomplish more. I believe most of our staff feel the same since our average tenure is through-the-roof compared to other growing companies. We know how important it is to have great managers. Our belief is that managers are to be coaches that help you accelerate your career path. This is why we have a program for both selecting & developing new managers. We also have ongoing management development classes as part of our Miles University program to help continually develop our existing managers. I welcome the opportunity to discuss your concerns with me personally, please schedule a private appointment for us to discuss.

Pros

Family comes first here at Miles IT. I work from home because I have kids in school and kids with special needs. Miles IT offers the flexibility I need to take care of them. Miles IT offers great opportunities for advancement and expanding your knowledge. Everyone I work with is super friendly, and we all strive to support and help each other succeed. We may have many divisions, but we are all one company, and we ensure each other's success.

Cons

Sometimes, I work a bit longer hours because I am so engaged in something that I can't stop until I'm done. (maybe that is my ADHD talking)

Pros

Great place for IT beginners. They put family first and offer great flexibility with work-from-home shift timings. It’s a great environment for learning new skills and gaining hands-on technical exposure.

Cons

The company suffers from poor workload management, continuously loading tasks onto overwhelmed employees while senior staff are too busy to offer timely help. Management fails to value seasoned employees, routinely ignoring their feedback and opinions. Instead, the culture leans into unnecessary micromanagement, where employees are constantly criticized for petty mistakes that do not impact the customer, leaving staff feeling unappreciated. Combined with the complete absence of an HR department to address behavioral issues, this creates a highly stressful and toxic work environment.
