Pros
There stil a few people in middle managment and working teams which make this place tolerable.
Cons
If you simply need a paycheck, this may serve a purpose. But if you are looking for a company where you can grow, develop, and work in a true growth-mindset culture, this is likely not the right place. The board and exec LT share responsibility for the current toxic and negative environment. New ideas from middle mgmt./working teams are rarely welcomed or acted on unless they are surfaced later by permira board members or advisors, at which point they are reframed as new discoveries. This creates frustration, slows progress, and discourages initiative. Every week a new priority wiplash by the channel leader who clails evertyhing is screwed up when he got here. The culture can feel highly political and fear-driven. There is too much toxic leadership behavior, too much conflict created between teams, and too much emphasis on protecting agendas rather than solving problems. Rather than encouraging healthy debate and collaboration, the environment often rewards compliance and “yes” people. There is also a disconnect between the promises made and the likely reality of the business. Equity/RSU upside does not feel credible, given the company’s performance challenges and the gap between stated ambitions and actual execution.
