Pros

Adopted Flexible working hours after Covid. People genuinely care about making a good product. Good group of AEs/SEs really do care about what’s best for the customer. Starts out good.

Cons

Lacks a clear strategy and customer focus. SMB that has Silos within silos. Many times there are no project managers and projects lack clear objectives or metrics. people really care and are working at 110% but know one knows what each other is doing or how to collaborate effectively. Old school boys club mentality. In the US there are few women hired or promoted into management, director, or VP level roles. There are few people of color and none in management, director or VP level roles. Sales managers going behind AEs backs to beg and put pressure on the customer for a signature.

Pros

Great office, catered lunch daily. Great benefits, 4 weeks PTO to start plus paid holidays, floating holidays, sick time. Culture is flexible, vibrants, friendly people.

Cons

Frequent changed and pivoting but senior leadership listens to employees which is good.

The people (some) Struggling to find more

Cons

Mimecast used to be a great place to work with good tech and strong values. The culture is toxic and incredibly unhealthy. They will promote you without an increase in pay. Recognition is a joke. The CEO is actively running the company into the ground. Sales leadership repeatedly meddles into and destroys sales opportunities and turns around to blame the sales team. The product is a mess with no strategy. only thing that's clear is the direction in which it is going, down.
